Morris County School of Technology Student Selected as SkillsUSA Star Award Recipient
 
Denville, NJ (5/15/09) – Alex Claas, a student at the Morris County School of Technology’s Academy for Networking Information Technology and Communications, was recently awarded the SkillsUSA Star Award. Alex was one of 83 high school students from the Morris County School of Technology that competed during the NJ SkillsUSA State Championship Competition, which was a showcase for career and technical education students across the state, held on May 8th in Somerset.

The Star Award is given to an individual who has significant contributions to Skills USA. It is the highest award a SkillsUSA member can receive.

Additionally, Alex won a gold medal in Television (video) production and will representing Morris County School of Technology at the national conference in Kansas City, MO along with 17 other gold medal winners from the school.
