Morris County School of Technology March Student of the Month

Denville, NJ (4/9/10) – The Morris County School of Technology in Denville has selected Vincent Simonetti of Rockaway, as the March student of the month. Vincent is a high school senior currently enrolled in the Academy for Networking information Technology and Communications.

Vincent has displayed leadership skills in bringing a new elective to the school, Introduction to Game Programming. He has been involved from the initial stages through implementation and is functioning as a teaching assistant for this new course. Additionally, Vinnie is involved with SkillsUSA and assists with the technical aspects of the Jazz band concerts.

The Academy for Networking Information Technology and Communications offers a Creative or Technical program. Students who select the Creative pathway will be exposed to careers in animation, digital video, graphic design, advertising, marketing, web design, illustration, multimedia, television and special effects. Students who select Technical focus on technology – leaning to configure computers and switches, and build and network computers.
