| Denville, NJ (6/1/08) – Barbara Castellana Stasiak, who teaches visual design, digital filmmaking, and interdisciplinary arts at the Morris County School of Technology Academy for Visual & Performing Arts, has been selected to receive a $5,000 Fellowship from the Surdna Arts Teachers Fellowship Program. The Morris County Vocational School District, where Ms. Stasiak has taught for 8 years, also has been awarded a complementary grant of $1,500 to support post-fellowship activities at the Arts Academy, one of ten career academies at the Morris County School of Technology.

| Morris County School of Technology Wins 18 Ribbons at the North Jersey Student Craftsman’s Fair |
| Denville, NJ (5/20/08) – Morris County School of Technology students won 18 ribbons at the Annual North Jersey Student Craftsman’s Fair held at the Ledgewood Mall. The show displayed finely crafted entries from high schools, middle schools and vocational schools representing a wide variety of media, techniques and ideas.

| Morris County Vocational School District Report HSPA Scores |
| Denville, NJ (5/20/08) – The Morris County Vocational School District is proud to report the High School Proficiency Assessment (HSPA) scores for 2007-2008 school year. The results for all the Academies in the district are 100% pass in Language Arts and 98% pass in Mathematics.
The HSPA’s are a New Jersey State graduation test where students must demonstrate their eligibility to receive a state endorsed high school diploma.

Morris County School of Technology Wins 22 Medals at Skills USA Event |

Denville, NJ (5/5/08) – Students from the Morris County School of Technology won 22 medals during the NJ Skills USA State Championship Competition, which was held on Saturday May 3rd in Somerset. The school sent 53 high school students to the event, which was a showcase for career and technical education students across the state.
