MORRIS COUNTY SCHOOL OF TECHNOLOGY

Clubs and Student Organizations 2009-2010

The Board of Education of the Morris County Vocational School District believes that the goals and objectives of this district are best achieved by a diversity of learning experiences. Some of which are more appropriate for outside the regular classroom or the career lab while others are rooted in the subject matter and extend the curriculum. The purpose of such co-curricular activities shall be to develop student initiative, provide meaningful opportunities for socialization, foster leadership skills and enable students to explore a wider range of individual interests. The Morris County Vocational School District Board of Education subscribes to these principles and, in so doing, shall make school facilities available, where appropriate, and solicit staff to serve as faculty advisors.

All clubs, associations and student organizations are derived from demonstrated student interest, organized and supervised by staff advisors and are sponsored by the Board of Education upon approval. Any interested groups of students should seek out an advisor and meet with the Supervisor of Student Activities for approval.
