Denville, NJ (5/20/08) – Morris County School of Technology students won 18 ribbons at the Annual North Jersey Student Craftsman’s Fair held at the Ledgewood Mall. The show displayed finely crafted entries from high schools, middle schools and vocational schools representing a wide variety of media, techniques and ideas. Winners were as follows in Food Services: Unjeria Davis of Denville, first place (Garnish); Marissa VanDunk of Ringwood, second place (Garnish); Rachel Ellerbee of Paterson, first place (Bread); Jennifer Lucca of Elizabeth, first place (Appetizer) and Best in Show of 62 pieces; Melissa VanDunk of Ringwood, third place (Appetizer); Jillian Serpa of Ringwood, second place (Dessert); and Edwin Pantoja of Pompton Plains, third place (Dessert). Winners were as follows in Cosmetology: Shannon Spohn of Flanders, first place, Serene Serene Award, and Outstanding (After Five hairstyle); and Allison Maloney of Lake Hopatcong, third place (After Five Hairstyle). Winners were as follows in Digital Design and the Academy of Networking, Information Technology and Communications: Brandi Ross of Morristown, first place (Illustration); Ryan Wright of Lincoln Park, first place (Photography) and third place (Illustration); Heather Wilson of Lincoln Park, second place (Graphic Design) and third place (Photography); and Mike Ficarra of Mine Hill, second place (Traditional Drawing).
