General Author Resources:

The Educational Paperback Association has links to many authors we know and love who many not have their own website. Its worth the look if you haven’t found your favorite author listed. http://www.edupaperback.org/

Kids Read Another site of some use, is: http://www.kidsreads.com/authors/authors.asp

Scholastic Teachers Author Studies is a nice resource for finding author info. The link is quite long: http://www2.scholastic.com/teachers/authorsandbooks/authorstudies/authorstudies.jhtml;schsessionid=WML1Q2VLSBKAUCQVAKUCFFAKCUBJYIV4 so I'd recommend telling your students to go to http://teacher.scholastic.com/ and then click "more authors & books".

Teacher Resources: Index to Internet Sites - Children & Young Adult's Authors & Illustrators http://falcon.jmu.edu/~ramseyil/biochildhome.htm

Additional Language Arts & Reading Resources: http://www.mcvts.org/ettc/links-lang_arts&rdg.htm

As always, if you have a link that you'd like to see added to this page, please email me!
