Mr. Rosado

  • I'm Ruben Rosado Jr. and a graduate of Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, New Brunswick. During my years in Rutgers, I became head of public relations for Latin Images and Rutgers Union Estudiantil Puertorriquena. I used my interest in art in order to make posters, banners, backdrops, etc. for these clubs. In Mason Gross School of the Arts, I worked closely under recognized artists Mel Edwards, Tim Bruner, and Lloyd McNeil. I have exhibited in the Mason Gross Civic Square Building Art Gallery, New Brunswick State Theatre, Perth Amboy Art Gallery, Center for Latino Arts and Culture in New Brunswick, and the Guild of Creative Art, Shrewsbury, NJ, where I am an associate member. I have also illustrated books for retired Yale Professor Dr. Felix Padilla and author, Roberta Writer and have appeared in the Home News Tribune, Amboy Beacon, and New Brunswick Carta Latina.

I love spending time with my family, playing with my son and daughter. I'm a black belt. I enjoy jogging with my dog, backyard BBQ grilling, and the beach. Recent books read: Outliers, Unbroken, The Art of Racing in the Rain, Born a Crime.
