Mission Statement

As an educator, I will strive to develop life-long, reflective learners who are informed, conscientious and productive citizens by addressing the distinctive needs of all students, providing challenging and diverse programs that reflect high standards to assure academic success while maintaining an inclusive, safe, and caring environment.

About Me

First and foremost, I am incredibly proud to be a part of the staff and community of Morris County School of Technology! I look forward to working with you/your child(ren) and anticipate a successful school year.

I began my life as an educator in 2005 and joined the staff at MCST in 2013. I am certified in both New Jersey and New York. I attended the State University of New York at New Paltz where I earned my BA in Adolescent English Education. I did not want to get out of "school brain," so I jumped right into graduate school at The College of New Rochelle where I earned my MS in Literacy from birth through twelfth grade.

I am a firm believer in communication between school and home. I believe that teachers, students, parents, and guardians must all work together to ensure a student's success, and I encourage you -- student, parent, or guardian -- to contact me this year with any questions or concerns you may have. Email is the easiest form of communication for me, but I can also be reached via phone.

My husband and I were blessed with our first child Easton in February of 2015 and our second son Bohdan was born in December of 2018. We have been enjoying all the joys and adventures that parenthood brings! Outside of the classroom, I enjoy cooking, gardening, kayaking, and hiking. I love all animals and have a dog named Jethro.
