Located at Morris County School of Technology, Denville
The Fundamentals of Building and Grounds Maintenance* program exposes students to the essential concepts and principles of interior and exterior building maintenance. Students learn the knowledge and skills required to perform the functions of a custodian, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, floor buffing, cleaning, and painting. Students have the opportunity to earn OSHA Forklift Operations Certification, Briggs and Stratton Small Engine Technician Certification, and a NJ State Black Seal Low Pressure Boiler Operations License.
Morris County high school students in 10th grade may apply for their 11th and 12th grade year.
*Fundamentals of Buildings & Ground Maintenance: 1 year program for students entering Fall of 2022

To access Google Classroom,
Students will need to log into their Morris County Vocational Technical School email account. (First.Last@MCVTS.org)
From there they can access my Google Classroom (4 dots upper right) They will see daily assignments there.
The first hour of the first 10 days will include having the students continue taking the OSHA 10 hour certification program on https://campus.careersafeonline.com/
Then students will do the daily Google Doc (It will be dated)
They are practice tests for the NJ Black Seal boiler exam.
Note: This years exam is 4/29/20
Overview of Program
Students attend one of two possible sessions (AM or PM) for Share Time programs.
Morning Session 8:00-10:50am
Afternoon Session 12:10-2:50pm
