I began my career in law enforcement in 2001 when I was hired by the Denville Township Police Department upon my graduation from the Morris County Police Academy. Since that time, I have served as a Police Officer in the Patrol Division. While assigned to the Patrol Division, I developed a desire to take on additional roles and responsibilities involving the community. In May of 2019, I was assigned as the new School Resource Officer (SRO) of the Morris County School of Technology, replacing Officer Rick Duda.
As the new SRO, my primary duties are the safety and security of the school, students and staff. I am looking forward to being a mentor and positive role model for the students. I will continue to maintain an open door policy, where I encourage students to stop by my office to speak with me whenever it’s convenient. I have already had the pleasure to speak with students in the classroom setting and have continued the work to keep MCST at the forefront in the county for instituting advanced lockdown procedures known as A.L.I.C.E..
My goal for the future is to continue to create positive relationships between students and law enforcement while maintaining a safe and secure environment for learning.
