Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Engineering
Academy for Artificial Intelligence & Robotics Engineering
Fundamental Requirements
The Academy of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics Engineering is a new program that prepares students for careers at the forefront of artificial intelligence, robotics engineering, autonomous systems, and smart manufacturing. Students progress from foundational engineering concepts to advanced AI and robotics specialization through rigorous technical coursework, hands-on projects, structured internships, and industry-recognized credentials across a progressive four-year sequence.
Learning Experience
Students build, create, code, and solve real-world challenges using some of today’s most exciting technologies. Through hands-on projects, students explore artificial intelligence, robotics, programming, electronics, cybersecurity, engineering, and smart technology. They will design and program robots, build AI-powered projects, work with sensors and smart devices, and discover how technology solves problems and transforms modern workplaces. As they progress, students tackle increasingly advanced projects, complete a senior capstone experience, and participate in a structured internship that connects classroom learning to real careers. Students can also earn industry-recognized certifications in areas such as AI, robotics, cybersecurity, workplace safety, and advanced manufacturing.
Skills and Prerequisites for Success
Prospective students should have a strong foundation in mathematics and an interest in artificial intelligence, robotics, programming, coding, smart machines, engineering, and advanced technology. Successful students will be curious, analytical, self-motivated, collaborative, and prepared to solve complex technical problems through hands-on experimentation and project-based learning.
