Fundamental Requirements
The Academy for Mathematics, Science, and Engineering integrates comprehensive STEM concepts with rigorous engineering design practices. Applicants applying to the Academy for Math, Science, and Engineering must be in Algebra 1 during the admissions window and complete the course by the end of the eighth-grade academic year or have previously taken Algebra 1 in school. If your Middle School does not offer Algebra 1, please find acceptable alternatives below:
