Share-Time Pathway Program at the Morris County Career Training Center

The Business Pathway program at the Morris County Career Training Center provides comprehensive preparation for careers in entrepreneurship. Students master essential business skills through industry certification instruction, foundational college coursework, and hands-on training in a modern learning environment equipped with the latest technology and resources.

Learning Experience

This innovative two-year program for high school juniors and seniors combines immersive classroom learning with real-world internship experiences during senior year. Students engage in career pathway exploration, college-level coursework, and certification preparation while earning 40 CTE high school credits and college credits from County College of Morris that can be applied toward an associate's degree.

Computerized Accounting (ACC 105) 3 credits

Business Information Systems & Applications (BUS 119) 3 credits - Microsoft Office Specialist Certification  - Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Business Law I (BUS 213) 3 credits

9 CCM Credits 

  • All students will take a full year of Computerized Accounting  (ACC 105) - 3 CCM credits
  • All students will take a full year of Business Information Systems and Applications (BUS 119) - 3 CCM credits and earn the Microsoft Office Specialist certification (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
  • All students will take Business Law I (BUS 213) - 3 CCM credits in the fall semester
