Academy for Health Care Science Student Receives the Diana Award

Siya Kulkarni (Health Care Sciences, Class of 2022) recently received the Diana Award, named in honor of Diana, Princess of Wales.  The Diana Award was established in 1999 by the British Government who wanted to continue Princess Diana’s legacy by establishing a formal way to recognize young people who were going above and beyond the expected in their local communities.

Siya was nominated by a community member who was familiar with the global initiative she founded to spread autism awareness by leveraging technology, Project EnAble. To date, the project has touched 52,000+ lives and counting.
