As the class of 2021 takes their next step into the world, so too do some of our staff here at MCST. Mrs Fitzpatrick has run our theatre department and International Thespian Society Troupe 7890 tirelessly for almost two decades. From The Trojan Women to Antigone her leadership, creativity, drive, and character has left a lasting impression on this school that will never fade. We thank her for her countless contributions to the artistic image and spirit of MCST.

Mrs. Gayle Adler has announced her retirement after 16 years in education, 14 of which were spent at MCST. During her time at MCST, Mrs. Adler contributed to the development of our PE program, taking the lead in Driver's Education and ensuring our students were on a strong path to attaining a license. Mrs. Adler served as a JV & Varsity volleyball coach for 7 years and a cheerleading coach (yes, we once had a team!) for 4 years. Most notably, Mrs. Adler did an excellent job as the HOSA co-advisor, overseeing myriad student successes at regional, state, and national competitions. We thank Mrs. Adler for her service and dedication and wish her the best in her retirement.

Today’s quote is from Janelle Monae

“Embrace what makes you unique, even if it makes others uncomfortable.  I didn’t have to become perfect because I’ve learned throughout my journey that perfection is the enemy of greatness.

Have a great summer, MCST!
