President’s Report Denise Curran (not in attendance)

  • Project Graduation – Senior Parent Zoom Call invite sent for Monday, January 27th at 7pm. The group discussed costs, and how fundraising needs to offset the costs for Project Graduation.
  • Teacher grant requests – Five grants (total $1,117) have been requested and approved thus far. They are $250 each max.

 

Fundraising Report 

Comedy Night is cancelled

Spoke to Skyzone in Pine Brook (Montville) -Pick a date and we will receive $4 per child and increases as attendance goes up.

Also discussed restaurant fundraisers and a trivia night.

 

Vice President’s Report  Chris Sirica

Fall Bag Bingo profit $4,128.44 (the 50-50 was $321)

Spring Bingo is Friday May 8, 2020

 

Treasurer’s Report Erin McDermid

Grants given through 1/19/2020

Balance on hand $10,437.36

 

Online Platforms/Technology Chair’s Report  Lisa Tubbs

More publicity is needed for events at MCST such as band concerts, sports and fundraisers.

Hospitality Chair’s Report  Mara Young

Volunteers and donations are needed for the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon on May 5, 2020.  Signup Genius will be sent.

 

Scholarship Chair’s Report Rebecca Stotler

The application needs updating.  There are six people on the committee to review the applications.  Applicants must be a MCST PTO member all four years of school.  The deadline will be in early May, 2020.
