Blackboard Mass Notification System
The Morris County Vocational School District utilizes the Blackboard Mass Notification system to communicate highly important information to members of our school community.
Parent and student contact information will be synced from Genesis, our student information system, to Blackboard and will be updated each night. As such, it is of utmost importance that your contact information on file in Genesis is accurate. Please utilize your Genesis Parent Portal to ensure that your contact information is up to date. Please note: Only Guardian 1 and Guardian 2 contact information will be synced to Blackboard for notifications. The individual listed as Guardian 1 in Genesis is the primary contact. Only the primary contact can update any contact information on file for all guardians listed. If you wish to add additional guardians, please contact Janet Kelly (kellyj@mcvts.org) for full-time students or Linda Scapicchio (scapicchiol@mcvts.org) for share-time students.
